Our Hidden Worlds, a blown and engraved glass show by award winning artist Lisa Tate, will be featured the month of April at the Artists Shop in Missoula. Lisa Tate's new show features the ancient art of Cameo Glass. Glass is blown by Tate using traditional off hand furnace techniques. Each piece is blown using multiple paper thin color overlays. When cooled, each piece is then hand cut and engraved. The show will run the month of April at the Artists Shop 304 N. Higgins, downtown Missoula. An artists reception will take place Friday, April 3rd from 5-8 PM.

This collection of serigraph prints by Sister Corita Kent (November 20, 1918 - September 18, 1986) is drawn from the MAM Collections. The works are indicative of Kent’s use of text and typography as an essential element of the composition. Kent was an activist in the 60’s and was known as a poet-artist. This is the first time the MAM has shown this collection of works. Enjoy a delicious selection of wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages. Admission is always free.
